After law school, David clerked for the Honorable Emmett Ripley Cox of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. While at Washington University, he was the executive articles editor for the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy and received the CALI Award for the highest grades in Torts, Evidence, Antitrust, and Corporations. David earned his B.A. from the University of Arkansas, where he graduated summa cum laude.
David is active in the Atlanta community, where he has lived for more than 15 years. He and his wife have three children, and he serves as an Elder at his church. In his spare time, David enjoys running (he has completed two Boston Marathons) and reading about history.
